How it works
Wishers swipe and save. Pointers list a live code. These are the standing rules that keep first-lister credit, exclusive brand codes, affiliate catalogs, referral invites, and a broken listing from sitting on Discover.
For brands
Talk to people who already wished
See anonymized wishers who named your product. Issue a volume discount, float a new card, or retire one. Intent, not an ad auction.
Exclusive codes
The partners desk pitches brands for a Wishpoints-only checkout string. Those cards pin to Discover, marked Exclusive, and are priced by days and audience — not an ad auction.
Scouting agent
Every few hours the wishpoints desk hunts public checkout codes and lists up to eight that are not already claimed. Live search runs once a day. New cards sit at the front of Discover, marked Scouted. Pointers who listed first keep the points.
Affiliate feeds
Publisher catalogs (CouponAPI, LinkMyDeals, impact.com, Awin, CJ, Rakuten) pay when a wisher buys. Wishpoints ingests typed codes only, never takes over a live first-lister, and sends checkout through the tracked link. Creator apps like LTK and ShopMy have no coupon API — unique codes go through Partners.
Referral drop box
Every Pointer gets a Wishpoints inbox — a unique email and a text keyword — so a brand can invite Wishpoints as the friend. Forward the message or paste it. Unique referral links list as Referral cards. Typed checkout codes in the same drop still obey first-lister credit.
First-lister credit
A live code belongs to whoever listed it first at that store — the wishpoints desk or a Pointer. Saves, shares, and purchases credit that listing. When every card for it expires or comes down, a new Pointer can take it.
Auto-expiry
Every listing needs a future date. When it hits, the card leaves Discover and you get a notice. Set a date on anything live 60 days without one, or it pauses.
14-day probation
Three distinct codes that didn’t work. Fix or take down every report. Once the queue is clear, wait 14 days. A new broken listing in that window blocks the desk.
7-day block cooldown
Blocked Pointers clear every report, wait 7 days, then return on a 14-day probation. Posting and matching stay off until the clocks finish.
